Now is the Time for Unity!
We at HANA, and our national partners NAKASEC and Korean Resource Center, are sickened by the racist events in Charlottesville, VA this past weekend. We condemn this act of domestic terrorism and our hearts go out the family and friends of Heather Heyer and those who were injured.
Now is the time we must come together. We must speak out and act in the unity that this country desperately needs to heal, grow stronger and move forward. On Tuesday, August 15th, HANA Center, NAKASEC, Korean Resource Center, Franciscan Action Network, Church World Service, Disciples Refugee and Immigration Ministries, Faith in Public Life, and UndocuBlack Network with support from 23 endorsing organizations will launch DREAM Action: Our Youth, Our Future.
Join us tomorrow Tuesday August 15 at 5:30 p.m. at Murrow Park (intersection of 18th and H Streets NW, in front of the IMF and two blocks from the White House) for the launch in Washington D.C.
