2026 Primary Election Day

The Illinois Primary Election will take place on Tuesday, March 17, 2026. Vote in person on Election Day, vote early at select polling booths, or vote by mail!  

Key Dates: 

  • Feb 17: Last day to register to vote by mail/paper 

  • Mar 1: Last day to register to vote online 

  • Mar 12: Last day to request a mail ballot 

  • Mar 16: Last day of in-person early voting 

  • Mar 17: Election Day! Last day mail ballots can be postmarked 

 

Use the multilingual voter hotline to find your polling place, provide translation assistance, learn how to register to vote, and get assistance voting during election day. The People's Academy is HANA's racial justice program, created and led by our Racial Justice Committee, in collaboration with Geobuki Hakkyo (School of Turtles, also known as GBG). GBG launched the People's Academy program in 2023, and we're excited to continue this important work in 2025.

In our Fall Session, we are focusing on the intersection of immigration and anti-Blackness. 

SESSION 3: 10/18/2025 @ 11 a.m.-1 p.m. (In Person at NWC 대면모임 - 하나 북서부 센터) 

An intergenerational immigration story sharing, where we can reflect on our family journeys, name how anti-Blackness has shown up in our communities, and explore how our experiences connect to broader struggles for justice.
