This in-person workshop provides immigration assistance, including eligibility screening, filing applications, and scheduling follow-up meetings. Information about financial assistance and citizenship classes will also be provided. Spanish language assistance will be available.
Our next Membership Meeting will be a refresher on Bystander Training and poster making for the No Kings Rally on March 28! We will provide art supplies and some cardboard boxes for poster-making, but please BYOC (Bring Your Own Cardboard) if possible! Lunch will be provided.

Jishinbalpki (지신밟기) is a folk tradition that takes place at the beginning of the lunar year to ward off demons and miscellaneous spirits, and to pray for the well-being of the village, a good harvest, and family prosperity.

The People's Academy is HANA's racial justice program, created and led by our Racial Justice Committee, in collaboration with Geobuki Hakkyo (School of Turtles, also known as GBG). GBG launched the People's Academy program in 2023, and we're excited to continue this important work in 2025.
In our Fall Session, we are focusing on the intersection of immigration and anti-Blackness.

An intergenerational immigration story sharing, where we can reflect on our family journeys, name how anti-Blackness has shown up in our communities, and explore how our experiences connect to broader struggles for justice.
